Skybox Takes Flight
featured on the Skynotes Blog by Ngoc Nguyen Lay
Skybox has gone through a lot of changes from the inception of the idea. It had started back when I was in grad school. I had no idea where I wanted to take my business, but I knew I wanted to start something that I could call my own. My original logo and concept was based upon the intention to run a catering business. Skybox has evolved so much further than that.

With Skybox Events, we do our best to make every moment magical, both for ourselves and for the client. I’ve seen plenty of “impossible” happen through Skybox; starting a company, growing into needing an office, writing a book, and so much more. This is why I chose the hot air balloon. Because I want to help others see all their impossible ideas become magical realities.
Skybox is taking the next step in their adventure and a rebrand is in the works again in 2016. A new website will be launched soon! Stay tuned to our social media pages to see the reveal.

Real Weddings – Skybox + Pink Shutter
We’ve had the pleasure of working with Skybox on two weddings in the Los Angeles / Orange County area. Ngoc was part of the bridal party for the first feature, Jannie and Tom. The couple created a sophisticated, cohesive look to their big day using their monogram, a navy, gray and hot pink color palette and a chandelier motif (with a real chandelier hung for the outdoor ceremony!). James & Thao hosted a bold, timeless wedding in red, black and white. Attention was paid to every detail with their monogram appearing on the menus, the floor lights, the photo prints and their photo booth backdrop. A Pink Shutter video booth captured heart felt messages from the couple’s guests. So sweet!
