Pretty in Pink with Pastel Dress Party
October is all about PINK. For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to highlight our new friends at Pastel Dress Party, their efforts to fight breast cancer and the beautiful ways you can incorporate pink into your big day. Don’t forget our 5% Promise Program, which runs all year long. #thinkpink #thepinkblog

We’re for all the bridesmaids who feel like dress options might be limited and somewhat cookie-cutter. We’re for all the bridesmaids who love DIY projects but want to do something a little different than what’s on Pinterest. And we’re for the bridesmaids who want to crush their bridesmaids duties, and look glam doing it. That’s why we built Pastel Dress Party to be your one-stop shop for all your bridesmaid needs. What matters is your love, and our love of bridesmaids! Pastel Dress Party is based in Toronto, Canada and serves bridesmaids worldwide.

THE Pastel Dress Party 2015
Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser
Pretty in pink? Always. Raising funds for a breast cancer cure? Even better.
The Gladstone Hotel turned into a bride-to-be’s dream for THE Pastel Dress Party. Partnering with Pink the Town, a Canadian-based online magazine and event company, Pastel Dress Party hosted amazing night that doubled as a breast cancer awareness event making it the perfect night to grab your girlfriends and hit the town.

Local vendors from Toronto came out to support the event and were invited to showcase their expertise and products to all the attending brides-to-be.

The main event was the fashion show unveiling the Pastel Dress Party’s new collection of bridesmaid dresses and beautiful wedding gowns from local vendors.

After a wonderful evening of treats, shopping, makeovers and a fashion show, the night wrapped up with a silent auction. The items were graciously donated from all the local vendors and sponsors that participated at the event; which included everything from stunning statement necklaces, wedding photography packages to gift baskets. The event was a great success and all of the proceeds from the auction and the event went to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada!

Real Wedding
Stormye + Ryan
Congrats to the Puffers! Their wedding day was rustic-meets-elegance at its finest. Subtle pink details are the best.
Stormye and Ryan were the winners of the Pastel Proposal contest held by Pastel Dress Party. Their bridesmaids are wearing the Kimmy Tutu in the colour Blush.

Shades of Pink
While fall and winter colors are divine, there’s no rule book that says you have to put away the pink! From fuschia to blush, see how Pink Shutter chose our fav pieces.
From Pantone to Pinterest, you can find your heart’s desire by color and Pastel Dress Party makes searching easy with color swatch filters. We chose a romantic combo of magenta, blush and rose gold. Complete your party look with this sequin dress or a versatile skirt, dainty accessories and whimsical decor.
A big thank you to Pastel Dress Party for helping us with this post. Stay tuned for tips on Must-Take Getting Ready Photos.
