Unique Additions to Your Wedding

The 2019 wedding season is underway and we have seen some awesome trends this year that add a unique touch to your big day. Adding eccentric additions to your wedding allows for a memorable experience for your guests in a sea of events that they are likely attending this year. These personal touches will show off your special relationship to your guests and gives them something exciting to experience during your wedding reception.

Food Trucks

Food trucks are a casual alternative to traditional catering for your wedding. Especially if you want to offer a late-night snack to your guests after the formal dinner but before they head home. You can find a truck that serves your favorite type of food or if you already have a favorite food truck, ask them to make an appearance!

Photo Booths

Photo booths have been gaining more and more popularity at weddings in recent years. They offer a fun way to have novel photos of everyone on your wedding day and is a fun activity for people to try throughout the night. You can rent a photobooth and stock the area with fun props like DIY wedding signage and sunglasses for your guests. After all, the props don’t always have to be silly!

Neon Signs

Neon signs are all the rage this year. We see them in restaurants, bars, cafes, so why not your wedding?! You can get a neon sign with your last name, wedding hashtag, or a lyric or quote you both love. This makes for a distinct photo opportunity for your guests to boast on social media!

Wedding Decor Custom Signage

Disposable Cameras

Leaving disposable cameras on tables throughout your wedding is a fun activity for your guests and another great way to have an array of photos from your reception. Let’s face it – the photographer won’t be able to get every fun moment and different guests’ perspectives. This will encourage everyone to make fun memories together and snap them too. Leave a basket by the door so people don’t accidentally take a camera home with them!

Interactive Wedding Favors

Upgrade the traditional wedding favors and go for something that guests can pick and choose from for themselves. Right now, we love the donut wall and candy bar trends. Order donuts from your favorite local shop and allow your guests to choose their favorite flavor from an array of choices on a gorgeous, yet rustic, wall display. You can also look into ordering candy in bulk to set up a candy bar. Your guests can pick their favorites from an endless array of bowls and jars for a treat to take home.

No matter what fun and unique addition you chose to showcase on your wedding day, make sure it’s personal to you and your fiancé and offers an unforgettable experience for your guests.

Photo Booth Ideas for Every Step of Your Love Journey

You don’t need a special reason to celebrate. You being you is reason enough. Not matter what stage of life you are celebrating at the moment, a photo booth is always a good idea. We’re here today to celebrate all the great memories of photo-boothers that were single, dating, engaged or married.

Single (and loving it)

Going solo to the school dance? Of course! What better date is there than your awesome self and your group of friends. USC Apasa hosts a themed Winter Formal each year. This party was all about the “Escape to Paradise.” Perfect for their SoCal home and Hawaiian vacation goals.

Dating (at my own pace)

Akiyo’s 30th birthday party was glam in pink and gold. Her boyfriend, with help of family and friends, pulled off a surprise that was worth the wait. See you at the dessert table.

Engaged (She said yes, or maybe she asked!)

One of our favorite ways to do a bridal shower is to brunch. This garden soiree was full of bright colors that matched the bride-to-be’s outgoing personality and sparkly engagement ring. Eve’s Events helped with the food and drinks, which were yummy ways to beat the heat.

Married (To the moon and back)

For many, a big love journey milestone is their wedding day. Megan and Nima decided to celebrate outdoors in a setting that was quite romantic (cue string lights in the forest). They obviously had a blast sharing their love as they danced the night away.

Fall, Rustic // Janey & David Wedding

earth / tangerine / pewter / moss

Colors change with the seasons and what a better way to incorporate fall’s rich tones than in your wedding day. Natural colors and textures, like the wood grain below, give us falls vibes that make for beautiful photo prints. Janey and David’s wedding was celebrated outdoors at the Los Angeles River Center & Garden.

French, Chic, Vintage // Jasmine’s Birthday in Paris

robin’s egg / nude / peaches / cloud

Jasmine brought the magic of Paris stateside with her themed birthday party. Taking cues from the architectural details in the City of Love, Jasmine’s prints conveyed a mix of sophistication and whimsy perfect for a Sweet 16. The party was held at the Embassy Suites in Anaheim, CA.

The holidays are not complete without an Ugly Sweater party, showing off some serious Christmas swag. This theme works just as well for hosting a party at home or attending one at work. Festive prints make a great frame for the season’s fond (and funny) memories.

Get Ahead with our Holiday Pinterest Finds

Christmas in July has come and gone, but we are still in the festive mood prepping for the holiday season. Book a photo booth for your office party, winter wedding and other seasonal gatherings. Your calendar will thank you for thinking ahead. Feast your eyes on our collection of Pins that remind us why we love the combination of snow, sparkles and friends (because what could be better?)…

The Christmas season doesn’t mean your space has to be an explosion of red and green. Tone down the color palette and find sophistication in off-white, mint and metallics.

We love the heartwarming traditions that wintertime brings, like drinking hot chocolate, playing in the snow and attending a local production of The Nutcracker.
California does Christmas a little different. Maybe it’ll be 50°, maybe it’ll be 80°. Either way, deck the palm trees and get these beachy vibes.
Gift-giving, decorating, hosting… all perfect occasions to bust out your DIY.

During Hanukkah, we’re thinking a modern touch could make this year’s tablescape a winner. Experiment with different textures and shades of blue to make the perfect vignette.
Friends and family are the reason we celebrate, the things we celebrate. Ok, maybe sequins too. Spread the joy by incorporating winter wonderland, fairy tale forests and NYE glam into your everyday.
You know it’s coming, the annual holiday office party. Wear something sparkly, but still work appropriate, bring a gift your coworkers will love and decorate the place to the nines. The last step is simply to enjoy the festivities and celebrate all you’ve accomplished this year.

Real Wedding: Natalie & Hampton

We are so glad we got to be a part of this Christmas wedding that is all the joy you’d expect from a holiday celebration (cue confetti send off). The December vibe was incorporated in some literal ways, like their pine cone adorned tree, but mostly in classic, timeless details, like green floor-length bridesmaids’ dresses. White on white florals by Stems of Dallas decorated the ceremony at the grand Highland Park United Methodist Church followed by a reception at the Dallas Country Club.
